Frances Hernandez

Frances Ramirez Hernandez, 90, passed away on Tuesday, March 25, 2014. She was born on June 23, 1923 in Dolores, TX. She was a loving mother, sister, and grandmother, as well as a lifelong member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Houston, TX. Frances was preceded in death by her loving husband, Doroteo Hernandez; son, Richard Hernandez; brother, Adolph Ramirez; brother-in-law, Ariel Almogabar; nephew, Ronnie Almogabar. She is survived by daughter, Gloria Bermudez (Angel); son, Gilbert Hernandez; sister, Isabel Almogabar; grandchildren, Marcario (Bianca), Marcus (Michelle), Cristal, and Angel Hernandez, Lysette, Arianna, and Angel Adrian Bermedez. Frances is also survived by two great-grandchildren, Xavier and Ian Hernandez; Daughter-in-law, Oralia Rodriguez, as well as a host of nieces and nephews. She enjoyed cooking and baking, and was well known for this talent, as well as being an accomplished seamstress. She was a devout Catholic, but above all, a loving and caring individual who enriched the lives of all those around her. The family would also like to extend a special thanks to her caregiver, Janet. Visitation will be held Friday, March 28th, from 5pm-9pm, with a rosary beginning at 7pm. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at 2pm. All services will be held at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, with interment immediately following the service.
