Born on December 30, 1946, in Houston, Texas, Frankie lived a life full of unique experiences and cherished connections. Frankie was the beloved son of the late Jim and Millie Maresh. He grew up in Houston alongside his siblings, the late Jimmy Wayne Maresh, survived by Genevieve Maresh Haley and Mike Maresh (Donna Maresh), forming bonds that lasted a lifetime.
Frankie's family was always at the heart of his life. He was married twice during his journey through life. His first marriage to Billie Ann Carroll lasted 21 years, and later he shared 30 wonderful years with his second wife, Virginia Joyce Maresh. These relationships were significant chapters in his story and brought him great joy. Frankie is survived by his son, Dewayne Jim Maresh, and daughter-in-law, Petra. He also leaves behind his granddaughter Nichole "Niki" Maresh, who held a special place in his heart. Frankie and Billie Ann lost a son, Tony Michael Maresh. His family meant everything to him, and he treasured the time spent with them. Known for his giving nature and entrepreneurial spirit, Frankie was a familiar sight to many as he parked by the roadside to sell hats and belts.
This simple yet meaningful endeavor reflected his hardworking character and connection to the community. In his leisure time, Frankie found joy in square dancing, immersing himself in the rhythm of old Country Western music, and watching classic Old Western movies. These hobbies brought him happiness and were a testament to his appreciation for tradition and simpler pleasures. Frankie's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. His kindness, dedication to family, and unique presence will be deeply missed but fondly remembered. May Frankie Jim Maresh rest in peace, and may those who loved him find comfort in their memories of a life well-lived.
I Wasn't Ready
I wasn't ready
To see you like this
Knowing that you're gone forever
I wasn't ready
To cry my heart out
At my loss, my heart breaks
I wasn't ready
To kiss you for the last time Or touch you for the last time
I wasn't ready to see that casket close To give you the only rose I ever gave you
To place it on the casket before you go to your final resting place
I wasn't ready
To drop to my knees and ask the lord to give you back to me
I wasn't ready To say goodbye
