Genn Yui Yeang, born on October 16, 1931, passed away on November 18, 2025, at the age of 94. He was a resident of Spring, Texas, leaving a distinguished career in retail and investments. After serving in the US Army, he married Chui. He was a hardworking and successful grocer, founding Spring Minimax. He also ventured into many real estate and business investments. He greatly enjoyed the Astros, Mahjong, Fishing, the Rockets, and Ballroom Dancing, to name a few. He loved many things, but especially being with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother Mr & Mrs Yea Gay Yeang , sister Betty Lee, and brother Gean F. Yeang.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Chui Y. Yeang, with whom he shared over 69 years of marriage. He is also survived by his three children and their spouses: Daughter Joyce Yeang Eng and Philip Eng, son Dr. Edmund Yeang and Dr. Gwen Yeang, and son Dr. Jerry Yeang and Fie Siang Yeang. He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren: Michael Eng, Matthew Eng, Isaac Yeang, and Phoebe Yeang.

A visitation will be held at Earthman Resthaven, located at 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060, on December 3, 2025, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm.The Funeral service will take place at the same venue on December 4, 2025, 10:00 am. Following, a Committal service will be held at 11:00 am.
