Gertrude M. Keck (Granny)

Gertrude was born to Louis Wisniewski and Nancy Wisniewski on May 11, 1927 in Brenham, TX. She married Donald Lee Keck on February 17, 1946, and will be dancing with him for their 75th Diamond Jubilee wedding anniversary. Together they raised 3 children.

She is survived by: Carolyn Weiss (Edward Weiss), Ronald Keck (Shirley Keck), Lanette Keck Maldonado (Jose Maldonado). She also leaves her beloved grandchildren, Karen Choate (Larry Choate), Richard Weiss (Lorie Weiss), Donnie Weiss (Amber Jacobs), Delmarie Bogs (Joshua Bogs), Wendi Coleman (Justin Coleman), Tanya Richards (Shane Richards), Nichole Teinert (Jeremy Teinert), Norma Delgado, Vanessa Teste (Hugo Teste), Valerie Maldonado, Angela Gomez, Maximilan Gonzales jr. (Vanessa Gomez), Matthew Maldonado, and Madison Maldonado. Along with 28 Great Grandchildren and 4 Great-great Grandchildren. Nephews, David Barker and Robert Wisniewski.

She is proceeded in death by her Husband: Donald Keck, Father: Louis Wisniewski, Mother: Nancy Wisniewski and brother Johnny Wisniewski.

Gertrude worked in banking for 45yrs. She was an active member in the Catholic Church, she enjoyed spending time with her family, fishing, and putting together puzzles. Not only will she missed by her immediate family but numerous of extended family and friends who cherished her loving heart and generosity.

A viewing is scheduled on February 11, 2021 from 5pm-8pm at Forest Park Lawndale. A church ceremony will be held at St. Augustine Catholic Church on February 12, 2021 at 10am followed by a procession to the cemetery.
