Gloria Mae Jubert, of Houston, Texas, passed away peacefully at home on June 26, 2025, at the age of 81. Born on October 28, 1943, in Weimar, Texas, Gloria was the beloved daughter of the late Maple V. Adams Steward and Aurelius Brown. She was a lifelong source of love, wisdom, and strength to all who knew her.
Studied at Prairie View A&M, Gloria went on to pursue a career in Accounting, where she was admired for her dedication and compassion. She was known for her generous spirit, unwavering faith, and deep devotion to her family, values that guided her throughout her life.
Gloria was preceded in death by her beloved son, Tevas Jubert; her siblings LV Steward, Robert Steward, Autry Steward, and Jettie Brown - Woodson.
She leaves behind a legacy of love in her devoted husband, Clarence Jubert; her son, Byron Jubert; her step-son, Terrall Jones; her granddaughters, Krystina Jubert and Cora Jubert; her grandson, Darrien Holley; and her great-grandchildren, Chloe Ausbie, Harlee Henry, and Asa Parnell. She is also survived by her loving sister, Gladys Fisher, and her brother, Clarence Steward, along with a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family who will miss her dearly.
A funeral service honoring Gloria’s life will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home & Cemetery. The viewing will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by the funeral service from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Gloria will be lovingly remembered and honored by her pallbearers: Clarence Thornton, Danny Thornton, Rodney Ardoin, Scooter Sherman, William Hall, Ira Miller Jr., and Darrien Holley.
Gloria Mae Jubert will be remembered for the love she gave, the faith she lived by, and the joy she brought to those around her. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
