Helen Lucille Cannon, age 97, passed away Thursday, August 17, 2017. Born in Giddings, Texas, she was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. She was an Office Manager at Memorial Hermann Northwest Hospital for many years, retiring in 1986. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Cannon; and brothers, Harry and Marvin Gollrad. Survived by son, Donald Cannon and wife Judy; daughter Donna Cannon Holbrook and husband Jim; grandchildren, Tracy Cannon Quillin and husband John, Kevin Cannon and Buck Merwin and fiancé Mallory Phipps; numerous great grandchildren; and sister, Alene McKeown. Visitation will be held 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Monday, August 21, 2017 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, 13102 North Freeway, Houston Texas 77060. The Graveside Service will be 2:00 p.m. later the same day, at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery, 6900 Lawndale Avenue, Houston Texas 77023.
