Israel Guadalupe Salazar

Israel Guadalupe Salazar, 68, of Houston, Texas, passed away on Sunday June 14, 2026 surrounded by the love of his family.

Israel, also known as “Lupe” was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather whose kindness, dedication, and quiet strength touched the lives of everyone who knew him. He is survived by his beloved wife Narcisa Salazar; his sons, Teodoro Salazar, Guadalupe Salazar, and Eddie Salazar and wife Anally Salazar; and his cherished grandsons, Aaron Salazar and Andrew Salazar.

For more than 20 years, Israel worked for Houston Eye Associates, where he built lasting friendships and considered his coworkers a second family. He took great pride in his work ethic and was respected by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He retired in 2025 from Houston Eye Associates to enjoy his time with his family.

Outside of work, Israel, “Lupe” found joy in the simplicities of life such as listening to his music, gardening, walking his beloved Pomeranian dog and driving his truck. He spent countless hours gardening and his yard reflected the same love, care, patience and dedication that he showed to his family, friends and co-workers throughout his life.

Israel, “Lupe” will be remembered for his loving heart, strong work ethic, and unwavering devotion to those he loved. His presence brought comfort, laughter, and strength to his family, and his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Though he is no longer with us, the love he shared and the legacy he leaves behind will never be forgotten.

Forever loved, forever missed, and forever remembered.
