Jackie "Jack" Kopinsky was born in Zürich, Switzerland on Friday, March 22, 1929 to parents Joseph and Gladys (Armer) Kopinsky. Surrounded by his loving family, Jack passed away in Houston, Texas on Monday, March 16, 2015 at the age of 85.
Jack is survived by his devoted wife of 57 years, Luisa; his beloved children: Silvia Goldstein (Mike); Carina Deaktor (Bryan), and Juan Pablo Kopinsky (Carolina); his adored grandchildren Gaston, Danny, Matias, Emily, Sebastian, Nico, and Kelly, other loving family members and many dear friends in Argentina, Israel, Holland, and the United States.
Shiva began on Thursday, March 19 at 6:00 pm at Mike and Silvia's house. Shiva was interrupted during Friday and Saturday and resumed on Sunday, March 22 at 6:00 pm and continued through Wednesday, March 25.
The family requested no flowers or plants, but if you so desired, family and friends could call Kenny and Ziggy's at (713) 871-8883, or stop in at 2327 Post Oak Blvd Houston, Texas 77056, where you could contribute for a tray for Jack's shiva.
