James "Harold" Prestidge Sr.

Harold was born 8/18/29 in Jonesboro, Arkansas, to the late Benjamine and Sarah Prestidge. He enjoyed hunting, RVing, fishing, family events, grand children, and great grand children and was an avid Texas A&M and Texans fan.

Harold worked as the Supervisor of the Western Zone Dispatching with Houston Lighting & Power. Harold was a member of Fairhaven United Methodist Church. He was a member of the Gulf Coast Holiday Ramblers RV club, as well as was a Master Mason. Harold lived life on his terms and could be a bit contancerous at times, but was a very kind and gentle soul; he had a loving and generous heart, and was always doing for others.

Harold was preceded in death by is wife of 56 years, Jean. His parents, Benjimen and Sarah Prestidge, his Step-Father, Frank Baker, Sister, Doris Snowden. Brother-in-law, Gene Holt, Charles Watkins. Sister's-in-law,Cody Watkins, Nephew, Charlie Watkins. Son-in-law, Rusty Murray.

He leaves loving memories to be cherished by his children, Jim Prestidge and wife Sheryl, Sherrie Murray, Rene' Nettles and husband Dan. Grandchildren, Ryan and Brittany Ramsey, Whitney and Christina Burroughs, Kelsey and Hailey Prestidge, Kayla and Danielle Nettles. Great Grandchildren, Evelyn and Quentin Ramsey.

Visitation with the family will be held from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Monday, October 28, 2013 at Waltrip Funeral Directors located at 1415 Campbell Road.

Funeral will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at Fairhaven United Methodist Church located at 1330 Gessner Drive Houston, TX 77055.

The family wishes to thank the physicians and staff and North Cypress Medical Center as well as staff at Autumn Leaves of Cyfair.
