Janie Hernandez, age 77, passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2014. Born in Victoria, Texas, she was the youngest of 11 children who was well loved and had a great sense of humor. She was preceded in death by her parents, Nazario and Maria Hernandez and 2 brothers and 8 sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Jane Jackson; granddaughter, Sarah Kaitlyn Jackson; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, December 22, 2014 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, with a Rosary to be recited at 7;00 p.m. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 23, 2014 in the Chapel of Earthman Resthaven. Interment will follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery.
