Jay was preceeded in death by is son, John Rice and daughter, Wanda Parker. He is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Mary Forson Rice; son, Layton Rice and his wife, Melissa. Also surviving are ten grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
The family will receive visitors from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Sunday, March 6, 2011 at Waltrip Funeral Directors. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday in the Waltrip Chapel. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Garden of Memories.
