Lorna, Ashley, Aunt Audie, Tom, Jimmie, Carol, and family.

My heart goes out to you all.  I know you are filled with sadness at Junior's passing.  I also know you are remembering the wonderful memories Junior brought into your lives as well.

Childhood memories... I recall the exciting trips the Poe family made to the big city of Houston to visit our aunt, uncle, and four cousins.  Going with them to the Astro Dome, Astro World, and the zoo was an exciting adventure.  Each visit to the Mullen's home was such fun.

Lorna, you and Junior raised a beautiful daughter and that is something I recall Junior being most proud about.  When we'd visit at family reunions, you and Junior both spoke so proudly of Ashley.

One of the last memories I have of Junior is being the faithful son.  During grandma's 100th birthday celebration, Junior stood close by Uncle Jesse every moment that day while Aunt Audie visited with grandma and other family and friends.  What I'll remember most about Junior is his big smile and his fun loving nature.  We will miss him.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

We will miss Jesse in the neighborhood.  We wil miss his cheerful greeting, his pleasant smile, and his wave as we passed your home.  May he rest in peace.

Lorna and Ashley, I am so sorry for your loss.  Junior's smile will forever be burned in my heart and I will miss him.  I pray for your peace and a healed heart. To the Mullens Family-I saw Jr just a few months ago at his Dad's funeral, we hadn't seen each other in several years. I have very fond memories of him as a young kid when I would visit Houston. My prayers are with each of you, there will be a void in your lives, so reach out to our Lord Jesus Christ for comfort.

Lorna, I am so very sorry to hear that Jesse has gone!  You guys are definitely in our prayers.  Life is so fragile!  Be strong and know that the Lord is with you during this hard time!

You are all well-loved, wonderful souls.  Growing up next door to y'all, Jesse was always so warm and inviting to us, leaving fond memories for me as a child.  When I visit my Mom, I pass by your old house and envision your dalmatians standing at the gate with their wagging tails, smiling for me to come in and say hi.  Good ol' Boulder Oaks...Good ol' Jesse...I am sad for you that he is gone, and so soon.

I cannot even begin to imagine all your emotions... Know that I am thinking of you and your mom and praying for your entire family. Your dad was such a sweet and funny man. I am hear for you if you need anything!

Lorna, Gary and I remember Jesse with fondness and we are keeping you in our thoughts and prayers.  I know my parents loved you both so very much and felt like you were part of the family.

Dad was the best man I have ever known. If I needed anything he was always there. I can't even begin to list the things I will miss because the list is just too long. Daddy I love you and miss you so already.

May the blessings of our LORD and SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST be with you during this time of grief. JR. was my second nephew, and only a little over 6 years younger then me. I will always remember walking thru the woods in Louiaiana when we were younger.Lillian and i are keeping you in our prayers.
