Jesus Berlanga Rodriguez

The incomparable Jesus Berlanga Rodriguez was chosen by God to enter the Kingdom of Heaven on November 3rd, 2021. We weren’t ready to lose him but know that he is in a much better place. Jesus was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s at the age of 73. Throughout his later years, he was an absolute warrior, enduring so much with so little complaint. Though his memory was lapsing his love of God and beloved wife did not.

Jesus did not let Alzheimer’s define him and instead threw him into his favorite passion: his family. He spent hours talking about his parents, childhood and his grandchildren.

He stands in our hearts as a reminder of strength, perseverance, love, and compassion. Though we will mourn his loss daily, we know we will be reunited in time.

Jesus is survived by his wife, Teresa Berlanga; daughters, Araceli Berlanga, Patricia Berlanga, Lorena Berlanga, Laura Alicia Berlanga; his son, Jesus Berlanga Jr.; his grandchildren, Oscar D. Munoz, Crystal M. Olmos, Priscilla N. Cortez, Samantha Munoz, Joshua E. Berlanga, Matthew R. Zamora, Faith E. Berlanga, Nathan A. Zamora and great-grandchild, Elijah N. Ramirez. Also, his brothers, Armando Berlanga, Juan Manuel Berlanga, Sergio Berlanga, Jose Guadalupe Berlanga, Benito Humberto Berlanga, Marco Antonio Berlanga and sisters, Maria Briones, Florestela Silva, Armandina Berlanga, and Hermelinda Valdez. He is predeceased by his father, Jose Guadalupe Berlanga De La Fuente; mother, Hermelinda Rodriguez Rodriguez; his brothers, Guadalupe Berlanga and Emigdio Berlanga.
