Jesus Zuniga Navarro was born on June 30, 1920 in Jalisco, Mexico, to Juanita Z. Navarro & Domingo Navarro. The family moved to Houston, Texas later that same year. Married to Trinidad Rabago. Jesus was a member of The Woodsman of The World. He worked at Todd Shipyard, Belmas Inc. and retired from Tapco International. Jesus & Trinidad were very active in the Senior Citizen Center of the YMCA of Navigation Street. Jesus was preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife, Trinidad, several siblings, grandson Keith Hernandez, and granddaughter Veronica Ramirez. Those left to cherish wonderful memories is his sister, stepson, Henry Medina (Sherry), Sons Jesse Navarro (Diana), Alvino (Josie) Navarro, Gabriel Navarro, Daughters, Rita Hernandez (Phillip), Maria Ramirez (Raymond) and Carmen Navarro, Eighteen Grandchildren, Twenty-five Great-Grandchildren, Five Great-Great-Grandchildren, Numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and special extended family and friends. Visitation will be held 5pm-9pm, with a rosary at 7:30pm at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home on Monday, June 10, 2013. Funeral Mass will be 12pm on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 3011 Telephone Rd., Houston, Texas 77023. Jesus was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and great-great-grandfather.
