

He was proceeded in death by his parents and brothers Julius and Julian. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years Mary Jane Delgado. His children Joe (Daisy), Michelle(Eric), Christopher(Aimee), Lauren(Juan). His grandchildren, Brianna, Aliza, Maya, Juliana Benjamin, Christopher, Zoe, Arianna, Jada, Jaden. Kalel, Xavier, Gianna, and Bentley. His great grandchildren, Celine, and Elijah. His brothers Bobby Delgado and David (Irma) Delgado.
He grew up on baseball fields and carried a lifelong love for the game, especially for his Astros and for watching his children and grandchildren play.
His passion for Tejano music led him to spend many years working closely with musicians, supporting their shows behind the scenes. In 2024, he was honored with an award recognizing his dedication to the Tejano music community—an achievement he accepted with deep pride.
For the past decade, Joe volunteered with the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo on the Rodeo Express Committee, a role that brought him great joy and lasting friendships.
Joe was a devoted and hardworking man, spending more than 40 years as a truck driver. His commitment was unwavering; he showed up every day until the moment his health no longer allowed it.
He leaves behind a loving family who will forever miss his presence, his stories, and the steadfast love he shared. His legacy lives on in the memories he created and the lives he touched.
