Joe Henry Muniz

He served proudly in the 1st Cavalry Division in the US Army.

Joe is survived by his wife of 34 years, Rachel M Muniz; his son Michael Muniz; and his son Joseph Muniz and wife Amy Muniz; his brother Lonnie Muniz, his brother Noe Muniz, his sister Norma Muniz, his brother Larry Muniz, his sister Debra Barboza, his brother Rene Muniz and his brother Donnie Muniz. Grandchildren, Michelle, Monique, Kylee, Kaelynn, Giselle, Aribella, and grandson Corbin. Also left to cherish his memory are numerous extended family and friends.

Joe was preceded in death by his mother Maria Elena Ochoa Muniz and his father Pasqual Muniz.

A visitation for Joe will be held Friday, December 17, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023. A prayer service will occur Friday, December 17, 2021 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023. A funeral service will occur Saturday, December 18, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023. A committal service will occur Saturday, December 18, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023.
