John Evans London

John was born to John London and Connie Bollinger, September 20, 1942, in Farmington, Missouri. He graduated from Farmington High School in 1960. After graduation he proudly served in the United States Air Force. He married Karen Russell Jones in 1980, and they lived together in Rosharon, Texas. Together they raised 3 children.

John is survived by: his wife Karen; daughters and sons-in-law: Christina and Clay Sanders, Michelle and Derrick Terry, Jennifer and Monte Chappell; grandchildren: Kelcy Rhodes, Karis Sanders, Kyle Sanders, Madison London-Carter, Taylor Chappell, Ashlyn Terry, Hayden Terry and McKinley Chappell. He also leaves to cherish his memory his nieces and nephews: Billy London, Kim London Francis, Carolyn Trokey, Mark Trokey, and Susan Trokey.

He was preceded in death by his parents John and Connie London, His sister Connie Lou London, his brother and sister-in law Bill and Martha London and his nephews Ronnie London and Johnny London.

He worked for Western Electric for 30 years as an installer of telephone equipment in their central offices. He enjoyed bowling and was an avid sports fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and the Kansas City Chiefs.

Visitation is scheduled for Friday, August 18, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Forest Park Lawndale. Pastor Bill Cole will officiate the chapel service at 12 noon with a graveside service to follow at 1.
