She joined New Zion Baptist Church at the age of ten. She worked very dutifully until she became an adult and moved to Houston, Texas.
Joroma is preceded in death by her mother, father, nine sisters and four brothers.
She leave to cherish her memory, one daughter, Shirley Reed, (Perry) two sons, Harry J. Pratt, Cornelius Pratt (Linda), two sisters, Dora Austin, Seerather L. Hall, three brothers, Eli Williams, Auther Lane and Jim Lane. Twelve grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, five great great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
