Jose De Jesus Rodriguez, age 90, passed away Thursday, January 9, 2014 in Spring, Texas. Born in Mexico, he was an excellent cook catering special events, and always put his loving family first. He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Alejandrina Rodriguez; and son, Raul Rodriguez. Survived by his children, Alicia Campos and husband Filiberto, Idalia Davis and husband Librado, Florestela Hernandez and husband Fernando, Florinda Duenas and husband Gonzalo, Jose Angel Rodriguez and wife Flower, Cesar Rodriguez and wife Laura, Maria Guadalupe Rodriguez, Sergio Rodriguez and wife Nelda, Olga Lidia Moreno and husband Richard; 36 grandchildren; 42 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, January 13, 2014 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 14, 2014 in the Chapel of Earthman Resthaven. Interment will follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery.
