Jose G. Silva

Jose was born to David Torres Silva and Maria Luisa Rodriguez Garcia, April 19, 1941, in Mexico.

He married Consepcion Silva and they lived together in Texas. Together they raised 3 children.

He is survived by daughter: Griselda Tolentino and son Jose Silva, Jr. He also leaves to cherish his memory his grandchildren: Emily and Juan Tolentino, Jose, Jessica and Jenifer Silva; great-grandchildren: Carlos and Jose Deleon, Ian and Julian Aguilar, Karina, Juan and Natalie Silva; sisters: Aurora Silva, Consuelo Barrera; brother: Tomas Silva.

He was preceded in death by his wife: Consepcion Silva; parents: David and Maria Luisa Silva; son Juan Silva.

A visitation will be held Thursday, June 16, 2022 at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home 6900 Lawndale St., Houston, TX 77023 with a Rosary at 6:00 pm.

A short visitation will be held Friday, June 17, 2022 at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home from 9:00 am – 10:00 am. The funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 10:30 am for a funeral mass at 11:00 am at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church 7250 Harrisburg, Houston, TX 77011.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery 12800 Westheimer Rd., Houston, TX 77077.

The pallbearers will be Juan and Juan Jr. Tolentino, Jose Silva, Jose Jr. Silva, Carlos Deleon, Louis Aguilar, Jose Barrera, Adolfo Fierros.
