Miss you Joe I wish I could have words with you one more time you always came to my store with your big smile and positive outlook on life you are an asset in heaven. My heart goes out to your family.

I will miss the greeting you always gave me when you entered my department or when you saw me in the building. No one said my name with so much enthusiasm like you. Hearing, "Hey Daf-fa-ney!" will surely be missed. May the Lord bless and console the family in the unexpected loss. Joe will surely be missed by us all.

Papa Joe, You will be missed. Thanks for always making me feel like another one of your baby girls. Your family and you will always be  in my thoughts and prayers!

My deepest condolences to the family, may he rest in peace.
To put it in just few words will do Joe great injustice. Joe cannot be explained in words, knowing him was an experience that one has to go through to understand. He radiated love and happiness to all at all times.
Work will never feel the same, something will always be missing.

Hey Ms. Buurry is what he called me and my response was always "Mr. Joe, What do you know?” LOL!!! I think that Joe left an impression on us all; everyone has a great memory of him. He has been the same person since I've known him and that's something that we all can take out of this home going. Joe had a Big Heart and he shared it with a lot of people. At the end of the day ask yourself, “If I was to pass away what would people say or think about me? What would my story be"? I hope my story would be that I had a Big Heart and loved everyone and left a great impression on my loved ones and everyone I came encounter with just like Joe. Joe you will be missed and never forgotten.

Joe we will miss your charisma but most of all your sense of humor! You always knew how to put a smile on our faces!

Joe always had a great smile and a kind word for everyone.  I met Joe at the City 22 years and it was probably 2 years before I stopped calling him Joe Cude.  Joe was a class act and I will miss him.

Joe was a wonderful person with such a jovial personality.  He touched the lives of many at the City of Houston and will always be remembered as "the man with the great smile."  Serving a man of such integrity made being a public servant worthwhile.  I will always remember him smiling and saying "hang in there BJ" and sometimes that's all I needed to  brighten up my day.  So as you grieve in your own way, remember "...weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning." I know it's hard, but just reflect on the good times you had with Joe and know he is at rest.  May God be with you all at this time and give you perfect peace.

"I can not make the homegoing celebration, but my heart and prayers goes out to you, Ms. Santos, Elizabeth, Kayla, Leigh and all of the grandchildren. He is at rest and at a place where he is watching us all. May God give you all a perfect peace.

To my brother's family, I ask the Lord to  give you peace and comfort during this time. we love you all. Big brother you will be sorely missed. Joe - I am going to miss you so much.  I will miss you at my desk laughing and saying stuff about people to me in spanish - LOL!! I will miss our bond over George Lopez 'I know, Huh!!' and 'You member!' or 'Why you cry'.  I will miss you leaving me messages on my cell phone when you were having some drinks (I still have some of those messages on my phone). You could always turn my frown upside down and even during the darkest times you helped me see the light.  You were my friend - you were more than that, you were family. Dad.. we had alot of laughs, fights, arguement, sad times, but at the end of the day you are still my dad and i will always be your baby girl "aka killer" an always love you. our home will not be the same it's going to be so quiet here now not hearing the microwave at midnight 1, 2 o' clock in the morning cause your getting a midnight snack an oh boy how you loved those or calling me from the office/mancave cause u cant fugure out how to take a picture or view you pics on your phoneor cant figure out the internet on th computer or when mom or me was gone an you call me an ask how to make something cause you were hungry yes mom spoiled you.. lol.. most of all our little wrestling matches of me kickin your butt.. Dad your going to be always loved and missed by so many people you were a very respectedc man. i love you dad!!!

I will always remember how you came over after work to talk to Horace and tell him about your day at work; you would check to see how I was and talked with Carolyn .I know you loved them and they loved you in return. I am glad I got the oppurtunity to know you---Rest in peace joe.
