My heart is with you all  during this incredibly difficult time. Joshua  was so deeply loved, and I know how much he meant to my son Mike and my daughter-in-law Cynthia. His loss is felt in ways words can’t fully express.

To Margie and Chale, my deepest condolences as you mourn your son. To Veronica, my heart aches for you, my may you find strength and comfort in the love surrounding you.

Please know you are all in my thoughts and prayers. Joshua will always be remembered, and his memory will live on in the hearts of everyone who loved him.

Yoshi, I’m so thankful for every memory we’ve shared. From sitting in class at HoustonCan; chillin on mom’s porch; and watching you create your own family. I’ll miss hearing you call me “Victor” or “big head” every time you saw me, even though your head was bigger than mine! Hahaha. I’ll never let the kids forget how much you loved them and thought of them all the time. You were the best tio to them and we all miss you so much. Love you Joshy boy, fly high bro.

I’m not sure where to begin, but whenever I visited my sister’s house, he would always find a way to scare me. He had a peculiar habit of doing so, and there was one incident that stands out in my memory. I had gone to my sister’s house, opened the door, and stepped inside. To my surprise, he was standing behind the door, causing me to jump in fright. I instinctively raised my hands, and he burst into laughter, exclaiming, “Why do you always do that with your hands?” I replied, “I’m scared, hello!” Despite the fear, I couldn’t help but laugh at the absurdity of the situation. Those moments of fear and laughter have left an indelible mark on my memory.

I remember the day Uncle Chale and Tia Margie came home from the hospital with Joshua. I remember the moments Carlos and Joshua first met. 
  We ( Jennifer, Cynthia, and I ) were watching Carlos because he was still a baby himself. Carlos had his lil PJ's on and touched Joshua's nose. After that day they were inseparable. 🥹

  I didn't grow up with Joshua, I got to see him grow up. I feed him, I changed his pampers, I babsat him, I was there for his first tooth, first steps.... So this hits a little different for me. 😢

It's so crazy how looking back Joshua always wanted to be like his big brother and cousins... Running with them, trying to keep up. But in reality, he created his own way... His own path.. His own identity. How beautiful is it to see all these ppl he impacted and that had the opportunity to experience the laugh and love of Joshua Belmarez ❤️

Joshy Jr’s birthday. I imagine the joy you felt on this day. That must have been a proud moment to be able to man the piñata at your son’s first birthday party.  No greater love exists.

And you’ve been the best Tio. All of your nieces and nephews knew you were a gentle, trusted adult and gravitated towards you. Their little minds don’t understand everything and their big hearts know something isn’t right. You are truly missed by all of them.

Joshy Jr has always been so well loved and cared for by you. You surprised him with new adventures every day. You blessed him with a childhood every kid dreams of. The love you shared was limitless and meaningful. It was deliberate love.

Our Joshy Boy, our youngest brother… you were always there, ready to fix anything or put things together without hesitation. That’s just who you were loving, dependable, and always willing to help. We love you so much and will carry you in our hearts forever.

No amount of space can keep us away. You will always be our baby Joshua Boy and we will always hold your memory close to our hearts.

This day at Alexis Jade Belmarez Quinceañera, we had to get a BELMAREZ BOYS PIC 🙏🏼 We will miss you little cousin, Uncle Jay and other family members will be awaiting you at the golden gates mijo. Rest in Peace
