Joycelyn Faye Martin, age 70 died on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at St. Luke’s Methodist Hospital. She was born on February 11, 1948 to Josephine Conrad and Jodie Jiles. Joycelyn attended school in the Houston Independent School District. She met and married Flenzy Martin Jr. whom she remained devoted to for over 40 years. Joycelyn devoted her life to Christ under the leadership of Dr. Bowie at Love United Methodist Church, Houston, Texas. She served as an Administrative Aide with the City of Houston’s Public Works Department until her retirement after 30 years. Joycelyn is proceeded in death by her husband Flenzy Martin Jr., mother Josephine White, father Jodie Jiles and sister Sherry Jiles. She is survived by her three daughters, Jeanette (Mike), Tracy (Leroy) and Monica, her beloved 5 grandchildren and 2 great grand children, brother Jodie offers (Sonny), sister Diane Bradshaw, special cousin Daphne Fields. Her life long best friend for over 50 years, Laura Fields and a host of nieces and nephews.
