Juana Evelia Flores

Juana Evelia Flores, age 91, of Houston, Texas passed away on Saturday, February 12, 2022. Juana was born October 2, 1930 in Sabinas Hidalgo, N.L., Mexico to her loving parents Fidencia Mireles and Casimira Acebedo. She was married on October 7, 1950 to her husband Ines F. Flores and she was a loving mother to five children; Jose Flores, Ines Flores Jr., Rosa Macias, Cesar Flores and Hector Flores.

Juana Evelia Flores left this earthly realm on February 12, 2022. Our mother walked this earth with dignity and grace. Her family was the most important thing in her life. Juana Evelia Flores was a devout Catholic and member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, where she spent several years as a Guadalupana serving her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She is now in the loving arms of her husband Ines F. Flores, and sons, Jose and Ines Flores.

She is survived by her daughter Rosa Macias and husband Tony, sons Cesar Flores and wife Carmen and Hector Flores and wife Gloria, grandchildren-Tony Macias, Lucinda Macias, Nelly Macias, Monica Macias, Nicole Surley, Robert Flores, Michael Flores, Evelyn Baggett, Stefany Flores, Christine Flores Estrada-Paniagua, Celena Flores, Catherine Flores and Roland Flores; great-grandchildren-Jonathan, Vanessa, Sabrina, Savana, Krystal, Mia, Clarissa, Cameron, Abigail, Ally, Nathaniel, Michael, Jordan, Jaden, Sofia, Luke, Felipe and Ian.

A visitation for Juana Evelia will be held Friday, February 25, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be Friday, February 25, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A burial will occur Friday, February 25, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023.
