She loved to cook and she enjoyed traveling, which included trips to Mexico, Hawaii, Spain, Italy, France, and Alaska.
Mom was always ready to go gambling in Las Vegas, Biloxi, or the Coushatta.
Most of all, watching the Astros and General Hospital made her day. She is predeceased by husband, Stanley, her parents Eulalio and Juanita Garcia, brother Gilbert, and sisters Rosie and Hope.
She is survived by her sister Guadalupe, son Sam, daughters Rose & Christina; Grand children Sam Jr., Michael, Christy and Rachel; Great grand children, David and Tyler, and Tommy the cat, her best furry companion.

Visitation will be at Heights Funeral Home on Monday, September 13, 2021 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. Rosary will be from 7:00pm to 7:30pm. Mass will be held at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1505 Kane St.
