Juliana Garcia Lopez, 95, of Houston, Texas passed on February 9, 2021. Juliana was born to Jose Torres Garcia and Prisca Martinez-Almendares in Houston, Texas. She married John Marquez-Lopez in 1944 and they lived together in Houston, Texas. They raised nine children together. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 60 years.
She is survived by her nine children, Tony Lopez, Esperanza Gallegoz, Irene Menendez, James Lopez, Elizabeth Bruce, Mamie Trevino, Fabian Lopez, Connie Lopez, Narcissus Lopez, and her beloved daughter-in-law’s and son-in-law’s. She felt blessed and loved all of her thirty-four grandchildren, thirty-nine great grandchildren, and ten great-great grandchildren. Her family was her vision of eternal life on earth.
A Celebration of Life visitation is scheduled for Sunday, February 21, 2021 at 5:00pm-9:00 pm, Service at 7:00pm, at Forest Park Cemetery, Grand Chapel. On Monday, February 22, 2021 at 9:30, Forest Park Cemetery, with procession leaving at 10:00am to Houston National Cemetery for 11:00am burial.
