Kenneth Lee Britt

Ken was born on July 15, 1948 in Pasadena, Texas to the late J.C. and Geneva Britt. He graduated in 1970 from the University of Houston with a B.A. in Business Administration. Ken worked for IBM, Long Reach Manufacturing & MCFA in sales & scheduling. He retired in 2005 and enjoyed spending time with his family & friends & watching University of Houston football & basketball.

Ken was a kind, generous, and fun-loving person who touched the lives of many people. He was an avid fan of the Astros and the Alabama Crimson Tide. He loved music & enjoyed listening to The Eagles, Tom Petty, the Bee Gees & Fleetwood Mac.

Ken is survived by his wife of more than 50 years, Cindy Britt; his children, Lance (Valerie) Britt of Houston, Texas, Kevin (Elisabeth) Britt of Seattle, Washington and Kyle (Jennifer) Britt of Katy, Texas; his grandchildren, Austin, Josh, Nathan & Travis Britt; his Brothers, Jim (Judy) Britt of Fairfax, Virginia & Leonard (Jerri) Britt of Houston, Texas; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 16th at 10:00 a.m. at the Earthman Resthaven - 13102 North Fwy. Houston, Texas. The family will receive visitors from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a. m. before the service. Burial will follow at Earthman Resthaven at the same location. Everyone is invited to a reception after the service at Earthman Resthaven in Ken's honor.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Second Baptist Church.

Ken will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He will always be remembered for his smile, his laughter, his wisdom, and his love for his dogs.
