Ken was such a great man.  Great to work for, too.  He will be missed very much and I know he's comfortable now.  Probably has a microphone in his hand mc-ing a gathering up there! Lots of hugs and love to you Keena and family.

Ken was our friend as Realtors making us all look our best in each media he lead. Ken was such a bright light in making sure that the Houston Community was reflected at its best as well.   
The voice that we all came to know so well over many decades will always be remembered and Ken you will be missed.

I'm so saddened to learn of the passing of my friend and mentor, Ken. He was so generous to me with his time and guidance. What a great man with a good soul. I'm so thankful to have crossed paths with him. He will be missed.

I've known Ken as a consummate professional for 20 years.  He was always a charmer and had a great outlook on life.  He will never know how much his inspiration meant to others!

I remember the day that my wife Judy and I met Ken.   It was sometime in 1979 which was around 16 years before our son, Trey, married Ken’s daughter, Kristina.  It was in the offices of Trophy Homes where Judy worked.  Before I saw him, I heard his wonderful voice…he was joking with some of the executives.  I peaked around the corner to see what all of the commotion was about…in a room with 4 men I saw a large man with a huge smile…an energetic force of a man that had everyone’s attention.  The man was Ken Collins.  Judy and I had no idea that many years later we would share a grandson and a daughter with Ken…a remarkable man that we are so much better for knowing.

Dear Keena and family, Dick and I have wonderful memories of our trip to London and the many parties at your home.  Ken was such a sweet person and he will be missed.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you.  Dick and Sallie Waheed

Even those of us real estate agents who never met him face to face felt as though we knew him through the radio voice and the monthly real estate magazine--a man of humor, high integrity and sincere desire to improve the world around him. We all will miss him.

We have  just learned of the passing of Kenneth. Our thoughts and prayers turn immediately to the family and we know that you have lost husband, father and grandfather. We know that your grieving is deep and will last for a long time.
We hope that  you will find comfort in the  memories of his  life that he has left imprinted in your minds. We know that you will be gathering to celebrate his life and regret that we cannot be there to share some of the stories of the old times. We remember the times he passed thru our lives and we cherish those and will until our time is passed. Our times are not in our hands. May God bless all of you and may the peace of the Lord be always with you in the days ahead.

Dear Keena and Family.  I am so grateful to have been one of his Memorial Hermann Home Health Nurses.  The time spent together during our home visits are those I cannot replace. No one who ever met Ken will ever be able to forget him. His was a life lived to its fullest. Ken was a man with a profound depth of experience, wisdom and humor, all of which will echo through the years-- as resounding as the timbre of his beautiful voice.  In the past years his thoughts were for his wife's future and he delighted in her, his daughters and their families, not the least of which were his grandchildren. He lived his life with gusto and joy, leaving many amazing and wonderful memories for all of us.  Our hearts are with Keena, Kristina, Krystal, Zachary, Abigail and Daniel, as well as his abundant friends and family.

Sorry for you loss.  You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Mr. Collins was always a delight on those rare occasions when I was able to be with him and his loving family.  I remember so distinctly the wedding of my nephew Trey Rouse and Ken's daughter Kristina that I was able to take a special part in and the wondrously "funky" reception afterwards.  Ken was a treasure to his family of course, but also to the City of Houston

Too soon, my friend.  The sound of your wonderful voice may be silenced but the memories remain.  God bless your family in this great loss.
