We became a family when our children were married twelve years ago. There will always be cherished memories of family functions we shared over the years, starting with a wedding and years later the birth of our precious granddaughter, Ainsley. I will always remember the trip we took to the hospital before she was born, and seeing her for the first time. We, of course, fell in love and became doting grandmothers overnight. Your memory will be kept alive to her through pictures and stories about her Nana. It is a comfort to me and Jerry that we were able to see you on the Friday before your tragic death on Monday. I look forward to seeing you again when my time on earth has ended.

A little girl is coming
To bring us joy untold
A little bundle from above
That we can't wait to hold

A little Brown
A little Vavra
A combination we can't wait to see!
With lots of shoes & little purses
A "vintage" little girl she'll be

Her sweet little face to see

As cute as cute can be

Tyler and I loved Kira so much. She was always so kind and warm to the both of us. Sandra and Kira have always made me feel like part of the family! I have loved getting to know both of them these 6 years, as I never had a chance to know Tyler's sweet grandma, Sonia. I will miss Kira's beautiful face at our family gatherings. She has always meant so much to me!

We will always remember Kira as an exceptionally kind and generous person with a way about her that made others feel special.  We only met her a few times but every time we did she was quick with a welcoming smile and a friendly word.  Even before she knew us, she took the time to make a blanket for our unborn daughter.  Peaches loves to play on that blanket everyday and it will serve as a wonderful reminder of Kira and her beautiful heart.  She will be missed.

The first word that comes to mind when describing Kira is genuine. She was sweet, thoughtful and sincere.  She was an incredible mother, grandmother and overall beautiful individual.  It saddens me that the time she spent with our daughter Ainsley was too brief, but we will keep her memory alive.  We love her and miss her deeply.

My heart goes out to all of Kira's family at this sad time.  My memory of her will always be seeing her with her grandchildren.  It is a beautiful memory.

Kira will be missed but we take heart in knowing that God's word says absent from the body is to be face to face with the Lord Jesus Christ.  First Thessalonians 4:13-18 gives comfort to those of us left to remember her life.
