Kiyoshi "Jr." Okabayashi, age 81, passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2014. He was a member of Little York Volunteer Fire Department for 50 years. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Rosetta Navarro Okabayashi; sons, Joe, Jeff, Joseph, Josh, and Robert; daughters, Suzanne Hope and husband Michael, Beth Hodges and husband Tom, and Tina McAteer and husband Tony; grandchildren, Nicole, Erick, Samantha, Brittany, Eric, Rebecca, and Paul; sisters, Kazuko Morrison and husband Paul, and Tsuyu Oyama and husband Siggie; brothers, Tommie and George Okabayashi; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, March 27, 2014 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 28, 2014 in the Chapel of Earthman Resthaven. Interment will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Jeff Okabayashi, Lonny Onishi, Joseph Hart, Josh Duffy, Tony McAteer, and Gary “Buster” Roberts. Honorary Pallbearers will be members of Little York Volunteer Fire Department.
