Lenora May Bauer

Lenora's family dates back from among the early German immigrant settlers of the Spring Branch area, where she was a lifelong resident. She was baptized on November 11, 1934 in Spring Branch Community Church by Pastor E. Leroy Jones. Graduated from Lamar High School; enjoyed the holidays, music and keeping up with current events. As a youth, she participated in the Maifest celebration of Spring Branch.

Preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Gussie E. Bauer and wife Dorris, and J.C. Bauer, Jr.; sister, Helen Marie Bauer Harris and husband William, and sister, Elsie Mabel Bauer. Survived by sister-in-law, Mary Jane Bauer; other relatives and friends.

Friends are invited to a visitation with the family at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 8th in the chapel of Waltrip Funeral Directors, 1415 Campbell Road in Houston, where funeral services will begin at 10:30 a.m. with Reverend Bill Cole officiating. Graveside services and interment will follow at St. Peter Cemetery, 9022 Long Point Road 77055, also in Houston.
