Leon F. Storemski

Leon F. Storemski, age 69, passed away Friday, February 22, 2013. He was born in Houston, Texas in 1943. After receiving a heart transplant in 2003, he devoted his life to volunteering at St. Luke’s Heart Exchange and was involved in many fund raising committees. He was a contributor to The Priest of the Sacred Heart, and he was an avid Houston sports fan, especially the Houston Texans. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Felix Storemski. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Margaret Gordon Storemski; son, Michael Storemski and Steven Garcia; daughter, Michelle Storemski Norton and husband William; grandchildren, Madison Norton, Matthew Norton, and Taylor Norton; brothers, Wilbert Storemski and wife Joan and Dennis Storemski and wife Barbara; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends. A Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday, February 28, 2013 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 19222 Tomball Parkway, Houston Texas. The Rite of Committal will be later the same day at 2:00 p.m., at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery.
