On August 26, 1939 a bouncing baby girl was born to Mitchell ward & Laura Bell in Groveton, Texas. After leaving Groveton and moving to Houston, Lois Jean landed and grew up in 5th Ward. She attended school in the HISD school system. Over her adult life, Lois obtained several jobs in the field of housekeeping & management of different companies. Preceeding her in death are parents, Mitchell ward & Laura Bell Mims, son; Willie Staggers, Jr., & Willie Staggers III and sister; Sharon Sessions. She leaving memories to her children; Cheryl Renee Ward, Pamela Staggers, Gary Turner & Lisa Turner, grandchildren; Fred ward, Katrina Staggers & Deonte' McClendon, Roquethia Staggers, Retha Morgan, Tameka Staggers, Adonias Staggers, Damion Staggers and host of family and friends.
