

40 años de su vida fueron dedicados a su esposa y sus cuatro hijos. Desde joven se dedicó a la carpintería y trabajó con varias compañías de muebles, instalaciones y carpintería en general. Dedicó una gran parte de su vida al servicio en la Iglesia San Carlos Borromeo en diferentes ministerios.
Le apasionaba escuchar la música grupera de los 80s. Entre sus favoritos, Tropical Panamá y Pegasso. Sus pasatiempos favoritos eran ir a juegos de los Astros y hacer compras por internet.
Él siempre fué una persona muy risueña y bromista. Luis fue una persona trabajadora que dedicó su vida a su esposa y a sus hijos, inculcándoles el valor del estudio, del trabajo, y la unión de la familia. Disfrutaba viajar con su esposa, celebrar los triunfos de sus hijos y atender reuniones con la familia y sus amigos.
Le precedió en la muerte su hermano, Rubén De León. Deja en vida su esposa, Gloria Alicia De León, sus hijos Luis Guillermo De León; Misael Alejandro De León y esposa Andrea y su hija Layla; Ronaldo De León; y su hija, Alondra De León. También deja en vida a sus padres, Guillermo y Teresa De León, y sus hermanos, Francisco Javier De León y su esposa Ana, Patricia Osti y su esposo Moises, Ricardo De León y su esposa Silvia, Raymundo De León y su esposa Alma, y Cruz Alejandro De León.
Fué un gran esposo y un gran padre. Un buen hijo, hermano y amigo.
Luis G. De León passed away on Sunday, September 27, 2026, at the age of 58 in Houston, Texas. He was born on June 27, 1968, in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico.
For 40 years, he devoted his life to his wife and four children. From a young age, he honed his skills as a carpenter and worked with several companies specializing in architectural millwork and custom cabinetry. He also dedicated a large part of his life to serving at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church on various ministries.
He loved listening to grupera music from the 1980s. Among his favorite artists were Tropical Panamá and Pegasso. Some of his favorite pastimes included going to Astros games and shopping online.
He was a very cheerful man who loved to laugh and crack jokes. Luis was also a hardworking man who devoted his life to his wife and children, instilling in them the importance of education, hard work, and staying close as a family. He enjoyed taking trips with his wife, celebrating and bragging about his children’s accomplishments, and attending frequent gatherings with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Rubén De León. He is survived by his wife, Gloria Alicia De León; his son, Luis Guillermo De León; his son, Misael Alejandro De León and his wife, Andrea, and her daughter, Layla; his son, Ronaldo De León; and his daughter, Alondra De León. He is also survived by his parents, Guillermo and Teresa De León, and his siblings: Francisco Javier De León and his wife, Ana; Patricia Osti and her husband, Moises; Ricardo De León and his wife, Silvia; Raymundo De León and his wife, Alma; and Cruz Alejandro De León.
He was a loving husband and a great father. A good son, brother, and friend.
