Lupe A. Gomez, age 86, passed away on January 31, 2015, his 46th wedding anniversary. He was born on September 12, 1928. He is preceded in death by his loving wife Josephine Gomez. He is survived by his children Deborah Gomez, Jose Martinez, John Gomez, and Shirley Almaguer; and his grandchildren and great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 5, 2015 from 4 pm-9 pm with a prayer service beginning at 7pm at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 6, 2015 at 9 am at Houston National Cemetery. A procession will depart from Forest Park Lawndale at 8 am.
