Lyle James Wethington, age 59, passed away Friday, December 16, 2016. Born in Houston, Texas, he worked as a body and paint expert with Southwest Automotive for over 20 years. He was a loving family man who enjoyed fishing. He was preceded in death by his wife of 34 years, Majorie Ann Cox and mother, Marcella Mae Wethington. Survived by son, Eric West; daughters, Marguerite Berger and husband Larry and Kathryn East and husband Derrick; grandchildren, Cheyanne West, Brave West, Rheyma East and Ruth East; sisters, Cathy Craven and husband Dan and Mary Wethington; nephews, Kenneth, David and Terry; niece, Kimberly Mae; and other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, 13102 North Freeway, Houston, Texas 77060. The Celebration of Life Service will then be 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Earthman Resthaven. Interment will follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery.
