Born on April 7, 1937, in Houston, Texas, Manuel lived a life rooted in faith, family, and quiet strength. As a Christian, he carried his beliefs with humility and love, guiding his family through example.
Manuel found joy in life’s simple and meaningful pleasures. He loved listening to music, working with his hands through carpentry, and cooking meals that brought his family together. Above all, he cherished being a husband, father and grandfather. His steady presence, wisdom, and gentle spirit created a foundation of love that will continue for generations.
He is survived by his daughters, Laura Peralez and Gloria Garcia; his son, Michael Amaro, his great-granddaughter, Mary Samaniego, his sisters, Sarah Longoria and Mary Zapata; his brothers, Charles Amaro and Isaac Amaro; 10 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
Manuel’s legacy is one of devotion, to God, to family, and to the life he built with his hands and his heart. Though he is no longer with us in body, the love he gave so freely will continue to echo through the generations he leaves behind.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
