Born to Bernard James and Katherine Cashman, who preceded her in death, along with her sister, Mary Ellen Dilley and beloved nephew and Godchild, Lee Christopher Dilley, whom she loved more than life itself. Margaret carried forward the family values of love, resilience, and kindness that defined her upbringing. She was born November 24, 1949, in Houston, Texas. She attended Holy Name Catholic School and graduated from Incarnate Word Academy. Margaret worked in various positions for many years before becoming her mother's caretaker later in life.
Margaret is lovingly remembered by her devoted sisters, Christina and Virginia; her brother-in-laws, Herbert (Buddy), Damian and David; her treasured nieces, Erin, Emily, Eileen, Katy, Melissa and Monica, and numerous great-nieces and nephews, who will forever hold close the memories and unwavering love she showed them. Although she did not have children of her own, she filled that space in her heart with unconditional love for her nieces and nephews, who were truly the joys of her life. She was a true lover of fun and adventure, always embracing new things with enthusiasm and excitement. Her laughter could fill a room and lift even the heaviest of hearts. May she now rest in the goodness of Heaven with a peace that is eternal and a joy that knows no end. She will be deeply missed, and her memory cherished forever.
