MARGARET LAVERNE ESTES, 89, passed away on Nov. 18, 2010. A long time Resident of Houston, most recently in Brenham. She was a member of St. Mark's Methodist Church of Houston for 60 years and Eastern Star in Roscoe, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Franklin Estes, Sr., parents; Estel and Matie Wooley and brother, Glenn Wooley. She is survived by her daughter Linda Margaret Fowler and husband Jim, son, James Franklin Estes Jr. and wife Linda, grandchildren; Jill Samples and husband Steve, Susan Stoltman and husband Troy, Brent Estes and wife Terry, Paige Murphree and husband Jason, great-grandchildren, Brittany, Kyle, Tyler, Garrett, Weston, Dillan, Emily, Ryan, Macy, Colby, sisters, Dorothy Chandler, Mildred Madeley, sister-in-law; Gerry Wooley and numerous nieces and nephews. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. followed by the funeral services at 2:30 in the Chapel of Angels of Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to M.D. Anderson Cancer Center or a charity of your choice.
