Maria Francisca Tereza Pereira de Magalhaes Bendit Gentry, born on June 17, 1934 in Brazil, passed away on May 12, 2014 in Tomball, Texas at the age of 79. Tereza was a patient, kind and gentle spirit and she lived her life as an example of Love – Kindness – Generosity. She sought adventurous opportunities and was forever exploring – oftentimes with a fishing pole. Her love of music was secondary only to her love of dancing and to say that she will be missed by her family and friends is an understatement, as she was simply adored by all of them. Tereza is survived by her loving husband, Kenneth Gentry; daughter, Emily Cash; two grandsons, Jett Cash and Shannon Cash; and a brother, Jose de Magellan.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 8:00 PM Friday, May 16, 2014 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home. Funeral Services memorializing Tereza’s life will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, May 17, 2014 in the Resthaven Chapel with interment following at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers and in the spirit of Tereza’s generous and caring attitude toward others, the family encourages that contributions be made in Tereza's memory to their favorite local children’s charity or to the Alzheimer’s Association.
