Maria Rosa Garcia was born to Felix Barrientes Sr. and Trinidad Gonzalez on July 23,1938 in Hebronville, Texas . She left to be with our Lord on January 2, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband Jesus V. Garcia and her daughter Yolanda Garcia. Rosa was the oldest of 9 children and she is survived by her own children Alfredo Guardiola , Jesus Garcia,(Margaret), Lesvia Cantu,(Joe), Daniel Garcia, and Alex Quintanilla,(Joe). Rosa leaves behind a legacy of love through her 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. A celebration of Rosa’s life will be held at Forest Park-Lawndale on January 5, 2013. There will be a gathering at 11am, followed by a memorial service at 1pm. Though this is the end of my journey on earth, it is only the beginning of my everlasting basking in the glory of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
