Dear Thea, It was such a happy time for us growing up with you, Yiayia and Papou in Jackson Heights. Thank you for making our childhood fun especially during birthdays and Christmastime. You will always be in our hearts, with memories everlasting. Good bye Thea, we love you.

My dear Aunt Marie, how I will miss our fun conversations.  I am so sad that you are gone but even the short years that we were able to communicate, I have beautiful memories.  
You were always there for me, even when I didn't know it.  You were such a beautiful person, inside and out and I will greatly miss you.

Bob, I was so shocked to learn about Marie.  I send my heartfelt sympathy to you and your family.  May God's love and peace surround you during this time of grief.

Thia Marie was my other mom growing up in Queens and the short time I spent with her and Uncle Bob (Bobo) in Texas when I was eighteen had a profound and permanent influence on my life. I learned how to "do it right" from their sturdy, ethical life view. I will never forget her just as I was never the same after being around her.

Dear Uncle Bob, Billy & Connie; please except my sympathies and apologies for not being there at this time.

Bob and Family,
I'll always cherish the good times with Marie on our little "junkets", priceless.  I look forward to celebrating her life with everyone on Thursday.

God looked around this garden
And He found an empty place.

Sometimes people come into our lives and touch our hearts so profoundly that we're never the same.  That's what Bob and Marie did when they came to Houston 40 years ago and bought the house across the street from us in Spring.  A relationship that only grew stronger as time went on. I will miss my best friend more than I can say.

I am deeply saddened by Marie's passing and heartbroken that I cannot be there to say goodbye in person.  She was a very special person to me growing up as her care and devotion to others were always foremost in her thoughts and actions.
