Marie Brotherton, age 92, passed away Wednesday, October 8, 2014. Born in Liberal, Kansas, she was one of 11 children, who enjoyed bowling, fishing, and trail riding. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, L.F. "Bill" Brotherton; son, Donald Wayne Brotherton; daughter-in-law, Linda Brotherton; parents, James Curtis and Lilly Mae Goldsmith; 4 brothers and 6 sisters. She is survived by daughters, Linda Marie Brotherton, and Carolyn Wooten and husband Ronnie; grandchildren, Sharon Chebret and husband Louis, Donald Wayne Brotherton and wife Shari, and Suzanne Garza and husband Gary; great grandchildren, Cheri, Chana and husband Leslie, Chelle, Louis Alan, Kyle, William, John, Destiny and Ashley; great-great grandchildren, Hailey, Kayla, Lilly, Gavin, and Zoey. Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be 12:30 p.m., Wednesday, October 15, 2014 in the Chapel of Earthman Resthaven. Interment will follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery.
