Marie Lewis passed away on February 19, 2017. She was 100 years of age. Before her retirement in 1979, she worked for many years in the Business Office of Pasadena ISD. She was a member of the Retired Secretaries of Pasadena ISD. She was preceded in death by her husband, E. S. (Boots) Lewis and her three sisters, Lucille Blanton, Ruth Dillon and Imogene Hunsaker. She is survived by her nieces Jean Matthews and Linda Hunsaker-Hardman; Great-nieces and nephews Susan Matthews, Sharon Martinez (husband Jorge), Steven Matthews (wife Natalie), Scott Matthews, and Gabriel Hardman (wife Corinna); Numerous Great-great nieces and nephews, and one Great-great-great nephew.
