Martha Rodriguez

She was born on December 31, 1942 in Río Bravo, Coahuila to Pablo and Magdalena Gonzalez. She married her husband, Odilon Rodriguez, on January 23, 1966 and immigrated to the United States where they resided in Chicago, Illinois for many years.

Together, they raised three children; Grace Rodriguez Gere, Sergio Rodriguez and Odilon Rodriguez Jr.

She is survived by her sons, Sergio Rodriguez and wife Celia Dynora, and Odilon Rodriguez Jr. and partner Marlen. She also leaves to cherish her memory her son-in-law Joseph Gere and her beloved grandchildren: Christopher Alexander Rodriguez, Matthew Avery Gere, Ian Andrew Gere, Lucas Evan Rodriguez, Alexa Rodriguez, Erika Rodriguez, David Jimenez, and Samuel Jimenez.

Martha is also survived by her brothers José Ángel Gonzalez and wife Enedina, Fernando Gonzalez and wife Irma, Refugio Gonzalez and wife Carmen, and Pablo Gonzalez and wife Sandra, as well as her brother-in-law Felipe López.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her daughter, and her sister Maria Alba López.

Martha had many ventures in her life, but above all was deeply devoted to her family. Her home was often the center of numerous family gatherings and celebrations. Her memory will forever remain in our hearts as one of steadfast love.

A visitation is scheduled for Monday the 16th at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home from 5pm to 9pm. A rosary will be recited at 7pm.The funeral mass will take place on Tuesday the 17th at

St.Frances Cabrini Catholic Church located at 10727 Hartsook St.,

Houston,TX 77034.Burial will take place at Forest Park Lawndale immediately following mass.
