Mary Katherine Austin

Mary Katherine Buchanan Austin was born July 25, 1927 in Houston, Texas. She was a faithful and devoted member of Faith Temple Church of God in Christ. She departed this life on June 19, 2013 and was preceded in death by her husband (Lawrence Austin), daughter (Lois Marie Williams), and four sons (Charles Ray Buchanan, Clifford James Buchanan, Larry Anthony Buchanan, and Mack Travis D'Andre Austin). Left to cherish her memory are her children Joyce Terry (Robert), Val Justine, Clarence Buchanan (Lilia) of San Antonio, Texas, sixteen grandchildren, many great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends I'm Free Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free I'm following the path God laid for me. I took His hand when I heard Him call. I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day; to laugh, to love, to work or play Task left undone must stay that way I found that peace at close of day. If parting has left a void, then fill it with remembered joy. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss, ah yes, these things I too will miss. Be not burdened with times of sorrow I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow. My life's been full, I savored much, Good friends, good times, a loved one's touch. Perhaps my time seemed all too brief; don't lengthen it now, with undue grief. Lift up your hearts and share with me God wanted me now; He Set Me Free!
