Mary Elizabeth Burnside, 82, passed away Friday, November 27, 2015. Born in Jackson, Mississippi, she was a true care giver to all and was a member of Westway Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harmon and Polly Patrick; and brothers, Richard and Bud Patrick. Survived by her husband of 62 years, Hoke Burnside; sons, Tim Burnside and Tom Burnside and wife Anna Gaona; daughters, Lisha Hendrix and husband Craig, and Cheryl Parker; grandchildren, Bryson Hendrix and wife Sara, Michael Parker and wife Lexi, Ethan Hendrix, and Dylan Burnside; daughter-in-law, Karen Burnside; brother, Floyd Patrick; sister, Anne Salerno; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday, November 30, 2015 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 1, 2015 in the Chapel of Earthman Resthaven. Interment will follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery. Donations may be made to Westway Baptist Church or to MD Anderson cancer center.
