An Angel sent from God, that is who Mary Jane was!  Filled with His love, showing that love for her family, Dan and Miss Mary--we loved her from the first time we met her.  Our hearts go out to all of you, know that we love you.  God bless you and keep you and make His face to shine upon you and give you His peace.

I have been a member of the Midkiff family for 50 years.  Not related by blood but by LOVE.   I worked with Mary’s dad, Kenneth and her mom Jeannette was my best friend since the day I met her in 1968.  I have been through a lot with this family but never thought that losing Mary would be one of them.  She was bubbly and happy and loved everyone. She always made sure that anyone around felt welcome and loved.  She will be greatly missed.  
Love you Mary, you finally have your angel wings.  Watch over us until we meet again.


There are no words to express the sorrow and loss we all are feeling.  I have only known MaryJane after she married my cousin Dan. Their love was special and complete. God filled their heart and guided their love and carrying marriage. The memories will be cherished of my yearly visit and the time we had together. Many laughs, tears and pure love was shared. You will be missed MaryJane, please be Dan’s guardian angel.

Mary has been a 2nd mom to me since I was 5. I will never forget all the softball games she showed up for,the birthday parties, crazy family events. She was Michelle’s (my sister) best friend, on Michelle’s 21st birthday my mom,dad, Mary, Hunter and James (Michelle husband at the time) went to the dog races. Heather, Josh, Kellie and I were being babysat at my house on Caffery street and all us kids were running, playing hide and go seek when I went to grab heather, I fell on my poor dog (Cuddles) and broke it’s leg. When our parents got home, everyone came to the rescue and everything turned out fine after running around like crazy people. Us kids would dance in Mary and Hunter’s living room to Ricky Van Shelton to Simple Man and scream out “3 eggs in a frying pan” Lol...... Heather and I were glued at the hip. Kellie was like 3 years old. Every night I left their house Mary would stand out in the driveway while someone at my house stood out on our driveway to watch me walk home. I was like their extra kiddo. When I moved to Katy, everyone came to visit and Hunter was apart of me getting my first birthday whooping (I have pictures to prove it). Mary stepped up even more after my mom died and we were making plans to see each other just a month ago and we couldn’t. I will forever hold cherished memories of our lives together. I love you forever Momma MJ!!! So many memories and stories to hold on too. 

Mary and I have been friends for 40 yrs. We used to walk to school together. 4 yrs ago, I lost my job and my beach home and Mary took me in until I found a new job.  I cant imagine life without her in it. No matter how long it was in between not seeing each other, it felt like only moments had passed when we would get together. Love her sweet nature and kind heart...very much an angel on earth, now, God's angel in Heaven.  Rest well my dear friend. Love you, miss you, forever in my heart!❤
