She was born in Fort Worth, Texas December 25, 1928 and moved to Houston to attend San Jacinto High school and The University of Houston.
She is survived by her spouse, Edward William Kurtz III, who she married at St. Anne’s Catholic Church,1952.
Mary Anne leaves two brothers, Charles Alexander Little Jr. and Joseph Custer Little along with two children, Margaret Anne Kurtz Davis and Edward William Kurtz IV, and son-in-law Robert Davis. Her legacy also includes three grandchildren, Mary Margaret Honeycutt, Meredith Anne Davis and Blake Kurtz
She had a long career as Director of Volunteer Services for St. Anthony Center, Texas Woman’s Hospital, and St. Joseph Hospital. She was a member of Boulevard Oaks Ladies Club, The Milford House, The Junior League Tea Room, The Shepherd School of Music at Rice University, Alpha Chi Omega sorority, and numerous medical boards.
A private family service followed to honor her life.
