Mary Lou Miranda

Mary Lou Miranda, age 89, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 22, 2018, in New Caney, Texas. She was born December 17, 1928 in Houston, Texas to Juan and Francisca Gonzales (Sandoval). She was a graduate of Sam Houston High School. She married Aurelio C. Miranda in 1947. She is survived by her son Rudy Miranda and his wife Laura, grandchildren Lisa Miranda Orso (Randall), Rudy Miranda Jr, Andrea Miranda Davis (Richard), Richard Michael Miranda (Kristyn), Albert Miranda(Melissa), Adrian Miranda(Rachel), Adam Miranda,(Corina), Angelica Miranda and sisters Ofelia Gonzales and Olivia Gonzales, 17 great grandchildren as well as many godchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was loved by family, friends and others whose lives she touched in her 89 years. She was preceded in death by her husband Aurelio C. Miranda, sons Leo Miranda Jr(mambo), and David Miranda(Half), her brothers Inez Gonzales, Dennis Gonzales, Willie Gonzales and sister Mary Gonzales.

A visitation for Mary Lou will be held Thursday, November 29, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale St, Houston, Texas 77023. A rosary service will be from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral mass will occur Friday, November 30, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St Patrick Catholic Church, 4918 Cochran St, Houston, Texas 77009. An interment will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
